On March 18 and 22, 2013, being invited bythe Confucius Institute of Bishkek Humanities Universityof Kyrghyzstan and the National University of Jalalabad, Liang Jianzhong, the assistant dean of the International School for Chinese Language and Culture in Henan University, and Han Renchen, the deputy chief of the enrollment management section, went to these two schools to hold the advertising and explanatory meeting for the students to study abroad in Henan University.

On the afternoon of March 18, with the arrangement and the promotion of the dean (Su Bai, the Chinese dean in the Confucius Institute of Bishkek Humanities University), our delegation successfully held the meeting. Before the meeting, the dean made a brief introduction toHenanProvince,KaifengandHenanUniversityfrom the various aspects such as history, culture, consumption level and transportation and so on. He said that: “HenanUniversityis located inKaifeng,HenanProvince.Henanprovince is the cradle of Chinese culture and civilization.Kaifenghas been capitals of seven dynasties in Chinese history and it is a city with long history. Located in the central plains ofChinaand with convenient transportation,HenanUniversityis a well-known university with a history of hundred years. ”

The assistant dean Liang Jianzhong showed sincere thanks to the dean for his selfless help and his promotion of the meeting. Then he made a detailed explanation of the history ofHenanUniversity, the development of the international student’s education inHenanUniversityand the strengths and specialties ofHenanUniversity.

The two sides reached a consensus on issues such as students with scholarship, self-supporting students, and exchange students in the Confucius Institute in 2013 as well as overseas Chinese returning back to pay visits and they got substantive achievements.
